LITASCO SA (member of the LUKOIL group of companies), the shareholder of "LUKOIL Neftochim Burgas" refinery in Bulgaria, hereby declares that there have been no media inquiries for comment in relation to recent media reports on the sale of the refinery, including the article in the Financial Times, which speculated on a transaction involving a Qatari-British consortium. The company emphasizes that the assumptions made in these publications are inaccurate and misleading, in particular, no discussions are being held with the aforementioned Qatari-British consortium and no communications with the authorities of the Russian Federation took place on the subject.
LUKOIL reserves the right to protect its business reputation from any misleading portrayals that may arise in the media.
LUKOIL remains committed to running a transparent process and will continue to keep Bulgarian authorities, the LUKOIL Syndicate of Bulgarian Petrochemists and other relevant stakeholders informed of any substantive developments regarding its Bulgarian assets.
LUKOIL continues to operate in alignment with its approved internal strategic objectives. Various options for its business in Bulgaria are being analysed under coordination of independent advisors with participation of a number of reputable market players. However, no decision has been made regarding any specific transaction or any potential counterparty.

(a LUKOIL Group company), being the owner of the ISAB s.r.l. refinery located in Italy, informs that it is ready to ensure uninterrupted operation of the refinery, given the feedstock stored up for the coming months and future deliveries of non-Russian origin oil.
Since acquiring the refinery in 2008, its owner has been investing into its development on a regular basis. As a result, it currently is a profit-making enterprise, a technologically advanced facility, and a reliable partner for all its clients, suppliers and contractors.
For 14 years, the refinery has been consistently honouring its obligations towards over 10 thousand Italians who depend on its operation, as well as delivering on its commitments to Italian authorities pertaining to taxes, health, safety and environment protection.

These site and e-mail addresses, used to send counterfeit contracts, have no relation to any of LUKOIL Group's companies.
As the number of LUKOIL counterfeit websites increases, we kindly ask you to use caution when communicating with unknown parties and double-check the information against LUKOIL's official websites (www.lukoil.ru and www.lukoil.com) as well as official websites of LUKOIL Group's companies.
